Strasbourg will host the 2026 European Blind Football Championship, a major international competition organized under the auspices of the IBSA (International Blind Football Association), by Sporting Cécifoot Schiltigheim, in partnership with the French Federation of Disabled Sports (FFH) and the City of Strasbourg.
The event will take place from August 17 to 23, 2026, and will bring together the eight best European blind football teams, including France, Germany, England, and Spain.

A temporary stadium opposite the European Parliament
For the 2026 edition, a temporary stadium will be set up opposite the European Parliament in Strasbourg. This exceptional venue will offer unique visibility to blind football and place the competition at the heart of Europe.
A major event for the development of blind football
Returning to France for the first time since 2009, the European Blind Football Championship is part of a strong dynamic, driven in particular by the gold medal of the French team at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
